Pictures from Day One...

Hi! Welcome to the Ozarks, the place everyone would live if only they could. I've had to select a small sample of what were many pictures, and it hurt to leave some out! But there are page download time considerations that must be accounted for. We were invited to spend the week with a family that had just purchased a condo on the lake. They also had a boat, and we were able to sight-see, water ski, jet ski, swim, drink beer, and ponder the meaning of life. The eating wasn't bad either.

Pictures from Day Two...

These pictures were actually taken over the course of the next few days. We explored the lake, went swimming, and rode the jet ski. Little Michael loves to pretend he is driving the boat. He could have sat there all day. Heck, I could have sat there all day myself. Being out on the lake reminded me of my own childhood- my father owned a boat we often used for fishing and water ski activities. Two of the pictures show Michael just after he woke up from a nap in mamma's lap.

Pictures from Day Three...

A few last pictures, that have been brightened in Photoshop and recropped to the dimensions shown here. These pictures are cropped differently than those shown above.

Above: Behold the awesome power of the storm! I kept taking pictures of the lightning storm and after about 25 pictures of mostly blackness, was lucky enough to get this shot. I just deleted the pointless pictures- something a conventional camera could not do.

Below: Picture of the lake at dusk. This picture was almost completely black until I used the curves function in Photoshop to lighten it up.

Many thanks to the entire H family, who made our time in the Ozarks something special.
