Welcome to the Hermit and Bertha Trainer Album Main Page This is my grandmother. Click the links on the left to explore the album.
Thanks to Donny Trainer for taking the time to scan the images and burning them to a CD, no small project. I converted the BMP files to JPEG format so that the pages don't take a long time to download. In many cases I was able to re-crop the original from the album page, and where necessary rotated it 90 degrees. At this time the album photos posted here represent only a fraction of the total- there is a lot more to go. When I get all of the pictures posted, I would like to take my laptop to Grandma's house, sit down with her, and put detailed captions under each picture. Because the individual pages can be easily reorganized, there is no limitation to the amount of narrative that can be added. Even Grandma's voice could be added to some in the form of a .WAV file. I am surprised that there are not more pictures of Grandma...I would like to put a better one on this page but had a hard time finding very many in the photoalbum scans. Are there more albums?
