This page contains a handful of MP3 songs I've written over the years.   Most of the songs were done with a combination of equipment - Roland KS 33, Yamaha S80, Roland SC-55, Yamaha MOTIF ES, Furman Balanced Isolation Transformer, Rack Mount PC running SONAR 4, Atmosphere by Spectronics, Gigastudio, and probably a few other things I can't remember.

March of the Mad Hats  -  This song started off as nothing more than an experimental drumbeat I was tinkering around with on a Roland SC-55.   It reminded me of the type cadence we used to march to in high school so I then developed a really strong and forceful melody around the entire drumbeat.

Mellow Days Intense Nights  - This began as a two note repeating pattern that just grew into an entire song.  The runs up and down the keyboard toward the end were actually programmed into the sequencer one note at a time and probably could never be played by any human in real life.

Critter 591 - This is my tribute to the ValuJet DC-9-32 crash in the Florida Everglades.  I knew the co-pilot of the aircraft, Richard Hazen, and you can hear his voice in the background talking to the control tower as they were attempt to return to the airport.  Improperly packaged oxygen canisters ignited causing all the aircrafts controls to be rendered useless.  This song was not heavily sequenced, in fact it was all done in one take so it is pretty spontaneous.

"I Love You Mamma!"

"I Love Mamma Because..."

"Grey Squirrel Grey Squirrel"

"The Little Bird Fly"

Michael loves to sing and play the keyboard now.  We've burned a CD of his creations and in time I hope to post a few of the better ones here.
